Red Hill Auditorium

Awesome outdoor venue for music, Ability to watch the sunset over the coast and the lights of the city come alive after dark. The venue has plenty of room, seating is somewhat uncomfortable, bring a blanket or cushion. Bar wait times were short and there is lots of room at the toilets (male). Food truck lines varied from very long (20mins) to short, this would change depending on the vendors however

Went to Evanescence concert here. I paid $400 for VIP Soundcheck tickets which were also meant to include a "Premium private viewing area in front of the stage". I got my partner the $250 fan package ticket so that he would be able to join me in this secluded area so that we weren't separated. I even called and spoke to Red Hill and they confirmed all of this with me. But on the night...there was no cordoned off area at all. I suffer from a lot of physical medical issues and severe chronic pain. It was going to be very hard on me to stand in that area all night...but I was packed and prepared as best as possible. However I definitely was not prepared to be in what turned out to be general admission standing for everyone there. So instead we ended up on the roof of the "bar" at some picnic table being able to only just see the band members from that distance but not with any detail. It turned out to be pretty miserable. Sitting there in the freezing cold and pouring rain, knowing that we had been ripped off. Noone can control the weather, that was just an unfortunate coincidence for there to be a severe weather warning that night. But surely some effort could be made to have some kind of coverage from the rain and even the sun. I imagine any events held in the daytime wind up with a lot of being badly sunburnt and loads of heat stroke cases. The toilets were appalling. Dark, no lights. Toilet paper, soap, hand towels...it all ran out. It was disgusting. I'll never go back to Red Hill Auditorium for another event ever again.

Fantastic venue to enjoy a live performance. Location feels like you are leaving suburbia but its actually only like a 30 min drive away from home. Phone reception sucks, especially when the area gets filled with people but you can still get just enough reception to use apple pay and stuff to pay for food from the food vans they provide.

Came here for the 1975, security and ticketing staff seemed organised however there seems to be some confusion around how old you need to be to accompany an under 18 year old. For a sold out show I would’ve expected at least two merchandise tents but the wait wasn’t so long that we missed any of the show. Otherwise a good night, wonderful show by the band and a beautiful view of the city.
